Circlet Review.

Hello there! It's time for my first ever review. So here goes nothing!

Background and information about the purchase:
On Monday the 25th of February, I ordered a silver circlet from a cute little eBay shop: which can be found here. I'm going to a psy trance night in May and I needed this as part of my costume. The first thing I noticed was simply how perfect the item was. When I looked at the price, I noticed that it was £14.99 + £2.50 p&p or best offer. Intrigued, I decided to take my chance at making a "best offer." So I contacted her with an almost random offer of £7. A couple of hours later, I received an email notification that said the seller had made a counter offer of £10.50 + £2.50 p&p. Thinking this was very reasonable (after making a saving of £4.50), I accepted the offer and sent a thank you reply for being so generous. She replied stating that my order would be sent by first class post the next morning.

Sure enough, the next morning, I received an email notification saying that my order had been sent! (Yay)!

So when the post arrived just after lunch time today (27th February), I was super happy to see a cute little box that could only contain one thing: - my circlet!

Now for the review!
I opened the box and was greeted by a tidy appearance and a nice little personal message on my receipt.

That's the content of the box - well presented with pretty blue tissue paper.

There's my message! I'm not sure if the little message comes as standard with every receipt that's put into people's orders - but I think it's a nice idea. It's simple, but it personalises the sale a little bit more and helps to close the gap between the impersonal internet shopping experience and the personal high street-style shopping experience. It's a nice reminder that an actual person has sent this and has put the time and effort into making sure it arrives safely and promptly.

Here comes the exciting bit - the circlet itself!

Laid out on the pretty blue tissue paper. As you can see, it has a chain at the back so it is adjustable. I have a little head, so naturally I placed it on the smallest link. However, depending on hairstyle, other head wear such as a veil (if you're a bride) and of course, natural head size - the chain means that you can have it as big or as little as you like - which is super handy!

Now for the moment of truth - does it fit?

Yes it does! It's slightly the wrong shape for my head but that can be solved by a little bit of nipping and tucking on the jewellery itself. It's versatile enough to allow for a little bit of adjustment - again if you're wearing a complicated hairstyle or other head wear, being able to adjust the jewellery itself might come in useful.

It's very comfortable and I think it'll top my costume off nicely!

To conclude: I very much enjoyed my experience with this seller. She's very kind and obviously dedicated to delivering the best service to her customers. I know exactly where to go in future to make any unique, but classy jewellery purchases.

Efficiency: 10/10
Packaging: 10/10
Comfort: 10/10
Quality: 10/10
Service: 10/10

Thank you to unfauxgettable for allowing me to do this review and for generally being an excellent service provider!
You should definitely check out her eBay store/ website. Her eBay store is linked above, and here is a link to her actual website: CLICK.

More exciting news!

Hello my little muffinpie's!

Today, I received the first set of items that I've ordered in order to start making jewellery! So I shall keep you updated on how that all works out.
Next, I am hopefully going to try to get my circle contact lens review finished today and uploaded. The company that I bought the circle lenses from has contacted me and I'm now affiliated with them. I will get my own special coupon code, whereby people can click the link and upon purchasing circle lenses, they will enter the code and receive a free animal lens case and a free mystery gift! So I'm hoping that'll work out and it'll grow like a beautiful little garden!
I got in contact with an independent jewellery company that makes and sells gothic style jewellery. She has expressed some interest in sending me an item of jewellery for me to review, so hopefully we'll remain in contact! She seems lovely and her store is simply wonderful. You can find it on Facebook here: CLICK! So I'm hoping that in the coming days/weeks, I'll be doing a cute jewellery review!
FINALLY! I think my Circlet has arrived! So I will be doing a review on that today. The owner of the eBay site - Mel will then read the review and hopefully allow it to be added to her eBay page. Furthermore, she also mentioned about adding this blog to her website, which is really rather exciting! I do hope that this endeavour will lead to more customers for these lovely independent retailers! They certainly deserve it. You can find Mel's website here: CLICK!

So that's all! Well, I say "that's all" but actually, that's a lot of exciting new prospects that I certainly hope will materialise! Thank you for reading. Much love, hugs and snugs,

Lucy.

Exciting News!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my new blog! n-n

The reason why I have created this blog is because I am hoping to use it as a way of being able to hold sponsored giveaways, and give reviews on products from various stores across the internet. If you would like me to do a review on any of your products, or sponsor me - please click on the "contact me" tab. There you will find all the information you will need.

Anyway, seeing as this is my first post, I was waiting until I had some exciting news to give - and fortunately, only 24 hours after the blog's creation - I have some exciting news!

I went on a hunt on Facebook and Tumblr and got people to recommend independent clothing/jewellery stores, and I got in touch with them. This morning I came online to find a message from one of them - MossColly clothing.

What's going to happen is, I'm going to purchase one of their products (which they've offered me free p&p on) and once I receive it, I will be taking photos of myself wearing the product, and of course writing a review.

I will then post the pictures on Tumblr with a link to their Facebook page, and if they get an increase in traffic, they said they're willing to let me do a giveaway!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

Last night, I bought an Elven-style Circlet from an independent seller on eBay, and after sending her a similar request, she has allowed me to review the whole experience and document it on this blog.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
This morning, my circle lenses from Pinky Paradise came, and so I am hoping to post a review of that tomorrow. I've taken lots of cute little photos of every step and now I have to wait 8 hours before I can
actually put them in - so I will probably just wait until tomorrow.

So anyway! That concludes my first ever post - and I'm glad it's full of lots of exciting news! Thank you for reading, my little lovemuffins! :D
Ciao for now!
